Molly, the Portuguese Water Dog, came to live in Guerneville with Camille & Mary when she was about six months old. She was clearly a dog who had been loved -- as she immediately hopped up on the couch when they brought her home. You wouldn't believe the incredulous look on her face when she discovered she wasn't going to be allowed on the bed! Mornings are Molly's favorite time of day. She likes to wake up nice & early and then stand up on her back legs to give Mary lots and lots of kisses. Molly has two favorite places to run -- at the beach around the corner and at the orchard around the other corner. Molly has a big crush on Patch and even lets him play with her favorite stuffed toy!

Nicky, a Bichon Frise who just had his 17th birthday, was rescued from a pet store puppy mill. At this point the old fellow is nearly blind and mostly deaf, and passes his days with Molly as the greeter at Russian River Getaways. He spends much of his time napping, but occasionally stirs himself to try to persuade someone to get him a cookie. Nickys enjoys visits with Patch and Ryo at their home, and so far he has managed to stay out of the way when things get a little wild!
